Blueair model comparison

Blue Pure Mini Max Bundle or Mini Max Auto?

Blueair uses similar names for products with materially different routines. The U.S. Blue Pure Mini Max Bundle is a two-unit offer built around the non-Auto Blue Pure Mini Max, manual model 3131000100. The Mini Max Auto is a separate one-purifier listing with a PM2.5 sensor and local Auto operation. The useful choice is not trim: it is whether two manual units for separate small rooms or one sensor-responsive unit fits better.

Check the rooms before the features

Blueair’s current table rates each purifier in the bundle at 107 square feet at 4.8 ACH. The Mini Max Auto page lists 105 square feet at the same rate. Both sit in the finder’s personal-space tier; neither reaches the 140-square-foot compact tier. The bundle can place one unit in each of two rooms, but the pair does not have a manufacturer-rated area for one open plan. If one room is larger than its rating, compare the standard Blue Pure 511, listed at 189 square feet at 4.8 ACH, rather than stretching either Mini Max headline.

Manual speeds versus local Auto

The Mini Max manual names On/Standby, Night and fan speeds 1–3. The exact product page says integrated air sensors are absent. The Auto product page documents a PM2.5 sensor, Auto response and five-color status. Blueair says the Auto Mini models cannot connect to its app, so that response is local, not remote. The non-Auto manual’s general troubleshooting table mentions sensors and app-assisted child-lock release, despite the exact page’s no-sensor feature list. That conflict does not establish app support; leave the non-Auto Mini Max’s app status unknown.

If a color cue and automatic fan changes matter, investigate the Auto model. If you want two physical units and prefer choosing a speed yourself, the bundle is the more direct premise. The manual’s child lock blocks accidental changes at the purifier; it is not an animal-specific cleaning mode or a physical barrier.

Understand the kit before buying

The bundle’s one-time shipment list names two purifiers, one Particle & Carbon filter and one Stockholm Fog pre-filter. Its technical table also describes one filter per purifier, but the offer does not explain whether the listed filter quantities are additions or the complete contents for both machines. Verify the cartridge count if the package becomes available. The Auto listing describes one purifier, one base cartridge and one Stockholm Fog sleeve. The exact replacement-filter page calls the Mini Max cartridge compatible only with “Blue Pure Mini Max” and does not spell out “Auto”; the Auto offer and manual also have an unresolved model-code/SKU bridge. Confirm specialty replacement compatibility rather than treating shared name fragments as proof of fit.

Blueair’s current Shopify offer for the bundle is marked unavailable, and the Auto offer has mixed stock signals. These listings remain useful for comparing two small manual units against one sensor-led purifier, but neither review promises current stock.
