Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Will each separate room fit the Mini's 127-square-foot rating at 4.8 ACH?
Blueair rates each unit for 127 ft² at 4.8 ACH. The two-unit package is useful in separate rooms; the manufacturer does not publish a combined single-room figure.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need a numeric PM2.5 reading on the purifier rather than a chemical-specific gas reading?
The SPMini manual documents numeric PM2.5 and a five-color indicator. It does not document a TVOC sensor, so particulate feedback should not be treated as a gas measurement.
Explore this need in the finder →Can physical, on-unit control work without a Blueair app connection?
The Mini is not Wi-Fi enabled and Blueair says it cannot connect to the app; the manual documents local fan, Auto, display and timer controls.
Explore this need in the finder →Would PM2.5-based Auto be useful while keeping control local rather than using an app?
Auto adjusts fan speed according to indoor PM2.5 and is documented alongside physical local controls; it does not require phone control.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a dedicated Night mode essential, or is dimming the display and selecting a low speed enough?
The manual documents display brightness controls and numbered fan speeds, but no dedicated Night operating mode. A dim display is not counted as Night mode.
Explore this need in the finder →Can each compact unit fit within a 7-by-7-inch body footprint, before airflow clearance?
Blueair lists a 6.9-by-6.9-inch body. Keep the separate four-inch airflow clearance in mind; this answer checks body size only.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the general Particle & Carbon replacement sufficient, or do you require a dedicated smoke/cooking cartridge?
The exact compatible Mini replacement is a general Particle & Carbon filter. No separate Mini smoke/cooking specialty cartridge was verified.
Explore this need in the finder →The Blueair Blue Signature Mini Bundle is unusual for a useful reason: its one-time U.S. offer is two small, separate purifiers rather than one oversized machine. Blueair lists two purifiers, two Particle & Carbon filters and two fabric pre-filters in the package. The linked manual identifies each purifier as Blue Signature Mini, model SPMini, number 4612522000; the package itself is Shopify SKU 115311. This is not the larger Blue Signature Small SP1i, and its two air-cleaning areas should not be combined as if one unit were serving one big room.
Think of it as two personal-room units
Blueair rates each Mini for 127 square feet at 4.8 air changes per hour. The product page separately says “up to 610 ft² in 1 hour”; that slower one-hour claim is not a substitute for the repeated-cleaning figure. A sensible use is one unit in each of two separate bedrooms, offices or other small closed rooms, with each room no larger than the per-unit 127-square-foot rating. Do not treat the package as a single purifier for a 254-square-foot open room: the manufacturer does not publish that combined rating, and air does not move freely between rooms just because the same box contains two units. The questionnaire’s personal-space option fits the per-unit figure; its 140-square-foot compact-room threshold does not.
Each unit is listed at 11.6 inches high, 6.9 inches wide and deep, 2.6 pounds and 5 watts. That footprint is easy to place, but not permission to tuck the purifier into a tight cubby. Blueair asks for at least four inches around it for circulation. The manual calls the upper face a tabletop surface and labels a 360-degree outlet, while the product specification calls the outlet “top.” Keep that air path clear rather than stacking objects on a surface that is also part of the airflow design.
Useful local feedback, no phone app
Unlike some of Blueair’s other Signature sizes, the Mini is not Wi-Fi connected. Blueair support specifically says Signature Mini cannot connect to the Blueair app, so its controls and feedback stay at the unit. The manual describes four numbered fan speeds, Auto mode that responds to indoor PM2.5, a numeric PM2.5 display and a five-color air-quality indicator. A motion-activated display wakes when you approach; brightness can be dimmed, a display lock is available, and a timer can stop operation after 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours. Those are a practical set of local controls for a pair of personal rooms, but they are not remote scheduling or phone-based air-history features. The product does not document a dedicated Night mode; dimming the display or choosing a low fan speed should not be counted as one.
Blueair describes the purifier’s HEPASilent filtration as capturing 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns. That is the manufacturer’s claim, not an independent result. The inspected product page and manual do not publish a single general CADR figure for this specific Mini, so it cannot meet a strict generic-CADR minimum in the finder. The manual documents PM2.5 sensing; it does not establish a chemical-specific gas reading. A PM number is useful particle feedback, not a measurement of every odor or pollutant.
Two filters in the box still mean ongoing care
The exact bundle page lists two main filters and two pre-filters for the two purifiers, so the package is described as having one of each per unit rather than a spare cartridge. The manual recommends replacing a main filter at about 12 months and says the red indicator is based on actual use and indoor pollution; Blueair’s replacement-filter page says up to one year. The replacement page names the Mini as its compatible model. Its separate subscription offer is two replacement filters every nine months, which is a supply-plan setting, not proof that every owner must replace both filters on that timetable.
For care, unplug before moving, cleaning or changing a filter. The main cartridge is not washable or reusable. Vacuum the fabric pre-filter with a soft brush; if it needs a deeper clean, follow its label and let it dry fully before reinstalling. Wrap the replacement cartridge around the body in the indicated direction, restore the fabric cover and hold the fan-speed control for 15 seconds to reset the indicator. The routine is straightforward, but owning two units means checking and servicing two filters and keeping compatible replacements on hand.
Who should choose this bundle—and who should pass?
Choose it when you actually want two independent units for separate small rooms, prefer physical controls, value a numeric PM2.5 reading at each purifier and can accept the 127-square-foot repeated-cleaning limit per room. It also makes sense when a light, compact housing is more useful than a single larger floor-standing unit. The product-page render shows two matching gray fabric-covered units with dark upper panels; it is a manufacturer render, not evidence of a tested sample or ownership experience.
Pass if one room is 140 square feet or larger and you need a repeated 4.8-ACH rating, if you want one machine for a larger open space, or if Blueair app access is essential. The page lists 20–42 dB, while its FAQ says low is under 20 dB; neither source states A-weighting. A strict dB(A) limit therefore remains unconfirmed. A CADR-based requirement is also unresolved for this model. For one enclosed room with more headroom, compare the separately reviewed Blue Signature Small SP1i, which Blueair lists at 248 square feet at 4.8 ACH; it has a different app/control arrangement and a model-specific filter. If you want a local numeric reading without buying two devices, look at single-unit models that meet the room’s own repeated-cleaning requirement instead of adding this bundle’s two ratings together.

| Manufacturer filter-check/replacement guidance | The manual recommends a 12-month replacement and bases its red indicator on actual use and indoor pollution; the replacement page says up to one year. A separate filter subscription lists two replacement filters every nine months, which is a supply option, not a guaranteed interval for each purifier. |
| Placement and care | Use one Mini in each separate small room; do not combine the two units' room ratings for one open plan. Keep at least 4 inches around each unit. Unplug before moving or maintenance. Vacuum the fabric pre-filter or wash per its label and fully air-dry it; replace the nonwashable Particle & Carbon cartridge when the red indicator calls for it, then hold Fan Speed for 15 seconds to reset. |
