A useful fit for

Two separate household rooms, each within 300 sq ft at one ACH on maximum fan, when compact HP062 bodies, local air feedback, VOC/odor sensing and motion response are useful. It is not a supported match for a single 600-sq-ft room or a required 2-/4.8-ACH area or CADR.

The main tradeoff

Two machines need two outlets and two floor placements. Each unit retains only the 300-sq-ft/1-ACH rating; a two-pack does not enlarge the single-room basis. The page advertises up to six years for HEPA media, but washable screen care continues, and exact bundle accessory quantities are not itemized. Phone-app support, strict TVOC sensing, numeric on-unit PM2.5, sound level and faster-rate area remain unconfirmed.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can each planned room fit the HP062's published one-air-change-per-hour area?

Each underlying HP062 is listed up to 300 sq ft at 1 ACH on maximum fan. Faster-rate area and CADR remain unknown.

Do you need two independent purifier units in one offer for two rooms?

HP062B2 is titled a 2-pack bundle and shows two Dove HP062 units. Each room keeps its own 300-sq-ft/1-ACH limit.

Explore this need in the finder →
Do physical controls on both units matter more than a confirmed phone app?

The underlying HP062 is a locally operated purifier; Shark says its My Air iQ display works without an app. App-control availability itself is not established.

Explore this need in the finder →
Should automatic response include odor/VOC sensing?

The HP062 page names VOC and odor sensors and says automatic adjustment responds to air conditions; a strict TVOC sensor identity is unknown.

Explore this need in the finder →
Would a motion-triggered fan response help in the rooms?

Shark says the HP062 motion sensor raises the fan when movement is detected; this feature does not supply a faster room-area rating.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is qualitative feedback enough, or do you need numeric PM2.5 on each purifier?

The page describes air-quality, VOC and particle feedback; numeric on-unit PM2.5 concentration is not confirmed. The shown clean-air percentage is not PM2.5.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can each 9.34-inch-wide, 11.54-inch-high body fit its planned spot?

Those are individual HP062 dimensions, not a combined bundle size. Leave the HP060-family guide clearance around each body and follow the supplied exact instructions.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is a 40-watt rated-input sum acceptable if both units run?

Each HP062 is listed at 20 W. Forty watts is a simple two-unit sum, not an independently measured or package-rated draw.

The Shark BreatheClear Compact Pro HP062B2 is a two-unit offer built around the small HP062 purifier. Its useful distinction is distribution: place one purifier in each of two rooms. Shark rates each underlying HP062 for up to 300 square feet at one air change per hour (ACH) on maximum fan. That is a slow-change room basis, not a repeated fast-cleaning rating, and the two figures do not add up to a documented 600-square-foot single room.

Two placements, not a larger purifier

This bundle makes sense when you already want separate machines in, for example, a small bedroom and a home office. Each unit has its own fan, floor location and outlet. Keep the air openings clear around both. If only one room needs cleaning, the HP062 single-unit offer has the same published 300-square-foot, one-ACH basis, so the second unit brings no documented extra capacity to that one room. If your one room exceeds that limit, compare a higher-capacity single purifier on the same one-ACH basis instead of adding the bundle's ratings together.

Do not choose it for an essential 2- or 4.8-ACH room-size requirement. Shark does not publish either faster-rate area or a CFM CADR for the HP062 in the reviewed product information. The stated 300 square feet is tied to one ACH and maximum fan; it is not evidence of four or five repeated air changes in that area. An unknown faster-rate figure cannot answer a strict room requirement.

What its sensors and display do—and do not do

The HP062 product page describes an air-quality display with VOC and particle information, sensors that scan 3,600 times per hour, automatic fan adjustment, and a motion response that can increase airflow when someone enters. That is a more interactive experience than a basic manual-speed-only purifier. The local screen also dims when the room is being used for sleep. Shark describes its on-screen My Air iQ information as available without an app; this is not proof that every possible phone-app feature is present or absent.

Keep the readings in perspective. The screen's air-quality and particle feedback is useful as a local trend, but it is not an independently validated monitor. A displayed “100%” clean-air figure is not a numeric PM2.5 concentration or a promise that the room contains no pollution. Shark names VOC and odor sensing, but the source does not establish a strict TVOC sensor specification. If you need a numeric PM2.5 value, a certified reference measurement, or a specific total-VOC channel, this package does not meet that need on the evidence reviewed.

Compact bodies still need two suitable spots

For each HP062, Shark lists a 9.18-inch length, 9.34-inch width, 11.54-inch height, 5.58-pound weight, 120-volt input and 20-watt rated power. Those are per-unit values, not the dimensions or electrical draw of a single combined device. If both machines run at their stated rated input, 40 watts is the arithmetic sum; it is not a measured consumption figure or a package-wide rating. Check each planned outlet and floor location. Shark's HP060-family guide recommends three inches of wall clearance, but its cover does not print the full HP062B2 suffix, so use the instructions supplied with the exact units for final setup.

Long-life media does not mean no chores

Shark advertises the NeverChange HEPA-exceeding media for up to six years, an upper-end claim rather than a guaranteed interval in every home. The product page's box list names a HEPA Exceeding Filter and a washable Debris Defense filter/screen, but it does not itemize quantities across the two-unit offer. The underlying family guide describes periodic care for the washable side screens; the routine still means checking, cleaning and fully drying them before reinstalling. If the precise number of spare filters or screens in the carton matters, confirm the current package list rather than assuming the single-unit list is multiplied by two.

The package also does not give a settled scent-cartridge count or a verified cartridge-free configuration. VOC and odor sensors are not a substitute for a dedicated gas-removal specification, and a sensed odor is not the same thing as removing every odor-causing gas. For odor-sensitive homes, distinguish the sensor display from the actual media and any optional fragrance accessory.

Who should consider it

Consider HP062B2 when two independent rooms each fit the HP062's 300-square-foot, one-ACH claim; you value the compact footprint, local readings, automatic odor/VOC response and motion-based fan changes; and the remaining screen-cleaning routine is acceptable. Consider the single HP062 instead when one placement is enough. For a single larger room, the HP162 is a more relevant Shark comparison at its own stated 750 square feet at one ACH, but that too is not a faster-rate guarantee. The two-pack is a convenient way to distribute small-room purifiers, not a shortcut around the airflow or measurement information you actually need.
