Blueair Mini Restful: one purifier-clock or a two-room bundle?
Blueair sells the Mini Restful as a one-unit purifier-clock and as two separate two-unit bundles. The practical difference is where you can place the second machine, not a larger cleaning rating for one room. Blueair lists two purifier/clock units, two Particle + Carbon filters and two pre-filters in the package contents for both bundle pages. Each individual Mini Restful is still rated for 140 square feet at 4.8 air changes per hour.
Choose one unit for one bedside routine
The standalone Mini Restful is the sensible configuration when you need one compact cleaner beside one bed, want the sunrise light and sound alarm, and have a small room within its repeated-cleaning rating. It combines a personal-room air purifier with a bedside clock, phone charging and local fan controls. That mix is useful when you already want a dedicated clock routine; it is more equipment and setup than a basic small-room purifier if all you need is particle filtration.
The clock does not operate entirely without a phone. Blueair says the app is needed to create and personalize the sunrise and sound alarm, while the SC9i manual documents local controls for operating the purifier and stopping an alarm. Initial app setup uses Bluetooth and 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi. If your priority is an app-free, one-button purifier rather than a clock, compare the Blue Pure 511; it is a different, simpler machine, not a Mini Restful with the clock disabled.
Choose a bundle for two separate small rooms
The generic Mini Restful bundle has offer SKU TM1006 and its main manufacturer image shows two Midnight-finish units. The finish-specific Coastal Beige bundle is a different offer, SKU TM1002. Blueair's exact pages list two purifier-plus-clock units and a matching pair of main filters and pre-filters for each package. The finish does not change the per-unit room rating or clock functions, and these packages are not one purifier with twice the airflow.
Two small cleaners can be useful when two closed bedrooms each need a bedside device, or when you want the clock-and-purifier arrangement in separate rooms. Think of the devices as two independent operating positions: place one in each room, allow each unit its own open air path and outlet, and manage its own filter and controls. Do not add two 140-square-foot ratings together to claim 280 square feet in one large room, especially across doorways or an open-plan layout. A purifier does not send its rated clean airflow through walls.
Keep the replacement routine per device
Each Mini Restful uses the model-specific Particle + Carbon cartridge and its washable fabric pre-filter. A two-unit bundle includes two main cartridges and two pre-filters on Blueair's listed package contents, so one matching filter set belongs to each purifier at setup. The replacement cartridge is a separate accessory from the bundle; match its compatibility to Mini Restful rather than selecting a small Blueair filter by appearance alone. Filter reminders and upkeep apply to each operating unit, not once to the pair.
Which option fits your room plan?
Choose a single unit if only one small room needs both cleaning and a sunrise alarm. Consider the two-unit pack if you genuinely have two separate bedside rooms where you will use the second clock and purifier; it is less compelling if the spare would sit boxed or if the second room does not need filtration. If one larger room is the real problem, compare a purifier rated for that room—such as the Blue Pure 211i Max—instead of assuming two small devices combine into one higher-capacity machine.
For the underlying SC9i room-fit, alarm-app limits and control tradeoffs, see the Mini Restful assessment. It covers the single-unit performance basis and the distinction between a physical purifier control and app-dependent clock setup.
Configuration details come from Blueair's exact Mini Restful bundle and Coastal Beige bundle pages. Per-unit and clock details are in the Mini Restful product assessment sources and SC9i user manual; replacement fit is listed on Blueair's Mini Restful filter page.
